Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of WalnutHill The Villages Tree Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Services Provided

WalnutHill The Villages Tree Service provides professional tree care services including but not limited to tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding and removal, emergency tree services, land and lot clearing, tree health and maintenance, arborist consulting, and shrub and hedge trimming. All services are subject to availability and may vary based on weather conditions, property access, and safety considerations.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide written estimates for all services. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary from the estimate if unexpected conditions are encountered during the work, such as hidden hazards, underground utilities, or additional tree damage. We will notify you of any significant price changes before proceeding with the work. Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that our crew has safe and clear access to the work area. This includes moving vehicles, outdoor furniture, decorations, and any other items that may obstruct the work. You must also notify us of any underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation lines, or other hidden features on your property before work begins. If you fail to disclose known hazards and damage occurs as a result, you may be held responsible for repair costs.

Permits and Regulations

Some tree removal projects may require permits from local authorities. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits unless we have agreed in writing to handle this on your behalf. We will work with you to determine if permits are required and can assist with the application process if needed. Work will not begin until all required permits have been obtained.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to weather conditions, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at your earliest convenience.

Liability and Insurance

WalnutHill The Villages Tree Service carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We take every precaution to protect your property during our work, but tree removal and trimming involve inherent risks. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, septic systems, or other hidden features that were not disclosed to us prior to beginning work. We are also not responsible for damage caused by natural tree conditions that could not be reasonably anticipated, such as internal decay or root failure.

Debris Removal and Cleanup

Unless otherwise specified in your service agreement, we will remove all tree debris, branches, and wood chips from your property. We will leave the work area clean and free of large debris. However, small wood chips, sawdust, and minor lawn disturbance may remain and are considered a normal part of tree work. If you have specific cleanup requirements, please discuss them with us before work begins.

Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with the services provided, please contact us within 7 days of completion, and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns. However, we do not guarantee the health or survival of trees after trimming or other maintenance services, as tree health depends on many factors beyond our control, including weather, soil conditions, pests, and disease.

Emergency Services

Emergency tree services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency services may be subject to higher rates due to the urgent nature of the work and the need for immediate response. We will provide pricing information before beginning emergency work whenever possible, but in situations where immediate action is required to prevent property damage or ensure safety, work may begin before a formal estimate is provided.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WalnutHill The Villages Tree Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Sumter County, Florida.
